Coastal Hazard Resiliency Planning

MCOG, in partnership with DACF and our region’s coastal communities,  is currently working on a project to plan for the impacts of sea level rise across the region.  If you would like to know more about sea level rise and what is being done across the region to plan for the impacts please have a look at the information below.

Sea Level Rise/Storm Surge Mapping Data

The following sea level rise and storm surge scenarios for each coastal MCOG community were developed by the Maine Geological Survey.  Google earth files (.kmz) of these scenarios will be made available for download.  This information is for general planning purposes only.
